does a middle school detention go on my permanent record?
i just got a detention for "disrupting the class" because i got up to borrow something. i am so freaked out! i am in middle school and this is my first detention. will it go on my record?! i am so scared it will. and if it does, will it affect my getting into a college?
the teacher who gave me the detention is very strict, but do you think i could ask her to exchange the after school detentions for 2 lunch detentionswould u say yes if u were her?
by the way, the detentions is an administrative one.

first off calm down... This will not hurt you what so ever. It may hurt your ego the most, but not getting into college... You just have to study hard and make good grades, because this is what will get you in college.. Don't worry about the detention....
Its okay, im in junior high, and at my school, a detention will not affect any permanent records, or getting into college! Its dependent on grades! (: so just try hard!
no it doesnt go on your record, and no it can't affect you from getting into college. many good students get detentions and colleges understand that. maybe if you got expelled or suspended for something really bad then yes.
