Like JM, I'm pro-choice and I'm sick of this debate, but I also find it very shocking how much misunderstanding there is about fetal development, basic statistics about abortion, and the basic pro-choice argument.

The people trying to post questions directing people to the video of an abortion, for example, probably don't know that the video does NOT show a typical abortion. That was a very late-stage fetus at a time of development much later than those of typical abortions, which is misleading when discussing the abortion debate in general. But then again, many pro-life arguments are based on misleading characterizations or information...

No God does not kill babies it is people that kill them. God does ordain everything but even he says murder is wrong which abortion is exactly that. Miscarriage is a completely different kettle of fish it is no ones falt when that happens where as you go out deliberately to murder a baby when you go for an abortion,

Here's the part that you really can't debate.

FREE WILL.

God gave us all free will, and with that we can do whatever we want. Will we pay for the consequences? I think so.

When God says as part of the Ten Commandments: "Thou shall not kill", I think He meant it. Does God "ordain" murder? No. Do "we" murder? Yes. I don't get the discussion there.

What about miscarriages? If I blamed everything bad that happened in this world on God, I wouldn't be able to enjoy one minute of joy. I lost a daughter due to a miscarriage, it wasn't God's fault. I believe she gets to spend her lifetime not knowing any pain, any disease, or any sadness.

1 Sam 15: 3Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ***.

So God apparently thinks it is purely okay to murder babies that are already born and a good deal of other innocent people. This was all on account of what one person did... the entire nation was slaughtered with babies and all. I don't think this bodes very well for an argument that God (as described in the Bible not as he really is) really cares for the life of children or innocents very much at all.

For all the abortions that have been performed over the last century, has this world become a better place to live in? Is there less strife, less affliction? Have we rid the world of the "would be" poor?

You do not understand how free will and His omnipotence exists together.

most miscarriages occur because of EVOLUTION - or what you Christians call INTELLIGENT design. And its usually due to some corrupted DNA that means the fetus is not viable.

Those women with fertility problems such as PCOS, Endometriosis and various other such ptroblems - have much higher chances of miscarriages occurring.

NO he does not. A lot of humans however murder babies.I do not believe that God condones abortion. He probably despises it. After all people are murdering what God created in his own image.

don't forget the unborn babies alive in mothers' wombs during God's more famous tantrums, like the flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, etc...

the way the excuse goes is that God is incapable of murder because murder has a bad connotation and God cannot be bad.

Its funny how Christains seem to overlook these types of passages in their Bible.
