Does hair get darker with age?
My hair when I was born was the same as now (I'm a guy, and I'm 14 now) it's always been a very dark brown, most people even say it's black, but I have to correct them, my dad is 56, and ever since I can remember his hair has been black, and more recently started turning gray on the sides. I saw a picture of him when he was around 15, and his hair color was just like mine is now. We're both Italian, and I've noticed that lots of Italian people that are older have black hair, but when they are younger have dark brown hair like mine. What I'm basically trying to ask is, will my hair turn black, and what age approximately would you say it will turn based on generality?

My orig. color is blue-black. As I get in my olden years, it had 4 natural colors: blue-black, platinum, dark brown, light brown and you can't find them from a bottle.
My dad was almost 98, with a lot of gray and few black. My aunt who was 87, is the same version as mine, except more plat.

I started out blonde, about the age of 5 my hair was dark blonde, by the time I hit 10 it was medium brown, I'm 17 now and it's dark brown! So judging by my experience I'd say your hair will be as dark as it's gonna get around 25 then go gray sometime later on.

Yes and then it goes grey. Got no idea when that will happen and I think nobody can say. But why worry - buy some black hair dye and the problem is solved.
