In 2009 we had a record breaker where so much came down that buildings roofs were caving in, but that is not normal. We get some snow, maybe a couple of storms a year, but compared to Chicago, where I grew up, it is nothing. The City of Spokane needs lessons on snow removal however. Just don't be afraid to drive in it. Be careful but be confident. Getting up the South Hill in a car can get tricky sometimes. We need some snow to help with the water supply, and to keep the skiers happy. I would worry less about snow and more about making a living. Doing that is tough here.
