Does Rorschach die in watchmen?
Im reading watchmen and someone on the internet said walter dies. When in the book does he die. I'm so pissed! Im only at the part where he's in jail. How does he and dont tell me to read the reat of the book.

Rorschach dies at the end after the dr. manhattan, rorschach, nite-owl, and silk spectre discover viedt's plan rorschach wants to tell the world what he did but everybody else agrees that what he did has averted a nuclear holocaust. Dr. manhattan won't let this happen and blows up rorschach.
When Nite Owl, Silk Specter, and Doctor Manhattan found out what Ozmandias did they all decided it would be best not to say anything and let everyone believe Doctor Manhattan created the blast instead. Sadly Rorschach's motto from the beginning of the film was "never compromise" and "never surrender". So Doctor Manhattan had to kill him to keep the secret. However, right before Rorschach died he gave his journal with the truth in it to a newspaper, in hopes that they'll print the story and the truth will come out.
