i'm working and constantly on my feet, walking around...do the insoles really work? and which would be better to get the heels or for the whole shoe?...i'd probably be wearing tennis shoes but i have a pair of shoes with a medium size heel..i might wear those too. i need some kind of cushion so my feet wont kill me at the end of the day.

One thing you need to know is...anytime you add insoles it will raise your foot within your shoe regardless of the price of the shoe thus causing discomfort /irritation to the top of your foot.......just plain insoles are not much help, you may also need arch support, be sure you have enough room in the shoe...that's the main issue...
Depends - it's a good inexpensive way to start out though. Dr. Scholls are cushions, not foot support. If the problem is d/t cheap shoes, this may help. If the problem is that your arches are fallen, then probably not - look at getting an orthotic for your shoe. I've had as much look with the $40 pairs as I have with the $300 pairs.
No, you should not get gel insoles for your cleats. Instead, I highly recommend getting a pair of Adizero 5-star football cleats.
