We are doing an Easter egg hunt for my 4 year old daughter for the first time this year. I know that the plastic eggs are small, but any ideas on what to put in them besides candy and money? Small stickers or something like that a bad idea? Any suggesstions? Please. I want it to be really fun for her. Thanks
Update:Thanks for all the nice ideas, we already know she is getting a ton of candy... oh yay for us haha.

Oh gosh -anything will be fun for her - small stickers are a great idea - there are a lot of cute little toys you can put in there - check your local Dollar store and look for party favors that will fit in an Easter egg- she will be thrilled that there is anything in there - you are making a wonderful memory!
My 4 year old daughter loves small plastic animals she's always playing with them. If your can find some small enough for the eggs or try the bigger plastic eggs. She just went for a egg hunt today and they mostly had candy (which they already get plenty of) and stickers. You could try play rings and small necklaces, tiny lipglosses at walmart fit, key chains, even get some toys from the quarter machines at stores. My daughter always likes the little toys more than the candy. Hope that helps some.
How about going to your local $ store and getting some of the play jewlery. Girls that age LOVE that stuff.
Actually the $ stores are safer than buying Fisher Price items right now. There is more items on government recalls from Fisher price than all $ stores put together!
DON'T go to the dollar store and get jewelry to put in them, no matter what!

The sticker idea is a great one! Polished rocks are a good one, too. You can find loads of them in bins at certain stores cheap. All kids love to collect polished rocks.
Silly putty is another possibility, and it comes in its own egg. You can give your child the funny papers to stick the silly putty to. The characters will transfer onto the silly putty and can be stretched out to make them look really silly.
Have fun!
