Okay so I turned my neck when stretching it and BAM suddenly, I got a sharp pain in my neck. I was like, oh looks like I need to stretch that area more!, so I went to turn my head in that direction, but when I tried to, I physically could not because the pain was so severe!!! I can't even straighten my neck because when I do I feel like something's going to snap!!! It hurts all up the right side of my neck!!! I'm home alone and can't drive because my dad's out shopping and probably won't be home for another hour!!! Please help! Should I try to call 911 or get someone to drive me to the ER??? Do I keep trying to stretch my neck??? Please help!

Put a small hand towel around your neck and pin it so it will stay. This will help to relieve muscle spasm. You can then decide after a few minutes if you want to go to an ER or wait for your father. If you are walking around, then likely the best route is to wait for your father.
Take a hot shower and a pain reliever. It is a muscle spasm.
no. keep your head and neck relatively motionless. just lie down on your back and rest and see if it eases up, then see an hio method chiropractor when you're ready to get it corrected.
