I see these posts, maybe just not fast food about if you don't tip your server, or in McDonalds if you ask them to fix the burger they f'ed up they will spit in your food or do some inhumane stuff to it. Is this how the new youth is taught to handle this? When I worked at Hardee's for 2 years I NEVER ever thought about doing this nor did any of my co-workers, we knew the job when we got it, customer service sucks but that's what I signed up for.
So is this really happening and who is teaching them and what managers are allowing it?

Apparently this happens in the US because there must be a lot of complete pigs working in the service industry. Spitting in food is illegal and dangerous because it spreads diseases.
Because some people think that they should be paid just to show up and if they have to do something they should get a gold star. Some people seem to have no conflict resolution or interpersonal skills. There was one time I walked off of a job because the people I was trying to help where insulting me and screaming and yelling at me. But there is no way I would deliberately mess with their food or whatever. First of all, it's not right. Secondly, it's a very good way to never get hired again.
No one "teaches" anyone to be an idiot, but given the fact that most fast food workers are very young, that explains the childish behavior they do when they feel like it. When I was in high school the cafeteria workers (students) did crap like that all the time. Managers can't be everywhere and it is easy for workers who want to be jerks to do things like that.
No! MacDonald's is a proper restaurant, if a worker did that and were caught they would be fired immediately. All restaurants have to follow strict safe food handling rules and most restaurants will achieve 4 or 5 out of 5 for food hygiene.
That is disgusting. Only unclean pigs do it.
