My favorite would have to be Abbey Road :) the medley is genius! And it seems to me that their songs recall in the past of their music career (sound wise).
Oh! Darling= The beginning
Here Comes The Sun= The middle
I Want You (She's So Heavy)= The end
I really don't have a least favorite but I guess it would have to be The White Album. I still love it to death though! A lot of the songs are really nice and they easily get stuck in my head but I think they could have done better (such as Sgt Pepper, AHDN, Revolver were better than The White Album)
Revolution 9 is just a random thing that John did. In an interview, John said he was just smoking joints and getting high when composing it. Nothing else to say about that. Honestly, it creeps me out a bit o.O
Okay, this is hard. Favorite is a tie between: Help!, A Hard Day's Night, and Sgt. Pepper. Least Favorite: White Album. It's still a great album, and Blackbird is one of my favorite songs, but I like their earlier music a lot better. I'm not saying that I ONLY like their earlier stuff, but I just like it better. BQ: Paul. And it's cause of his music, not because he was amazingly cute. When I first started listening to the Beatles (the first album I got was the #1 album), the songs I were attracted to were Yesterday, We Can Work It Out, Lady Madonna. BQ2: Vienna, by Billy Joel. he's my second favorite after the Beatles, and it is my song of the day.
Favorite:The White Album(yes I hate Revolution Number 9 as well and I've also grown to dislike Good Night, but what helps this album hold together is the fact that it proves the old saying about the whole being greater than the sum of its parts)
Least:If you can actually call it a Beatles album, the 1969 original Yellow Submarine soundtrack album,I dislike this album so much that I don't even own it,the 1999 Yellow Submarine Songtrack album is far better and a more accurate representation of the movie.
Favorite: It's actually a really big tie. But I'd have to say it's between Magical Mystery Tour and Abbey Road.
Least Favorite: I don't really dislike it, but I guess the White album.
The thing is, I love, or at least like The White Album, a lot. I really like the songs on it. I do find Revolution 9 creepy and strange, but I don't think of it as a song. And it wasn't a song, but a track of experimental sounds. And even though it's not my favorite compilation of sounds I actually really appreciate that track.
That aside, the other [ACTUAL] songs on it were good.
Favorite: A tie between Revolver and Magical Mystery Tour
Least Favorite: Yellow Submarine
Favorite Let it Be
Least Favorite Revolver IV
My Favorite: Abbey Road
Least Favorite: I guess it is Beatles For Sale.
Wtf? White is last?
But Fav:Rubber Soul, Let It Be, Abbey Road.
Least: With The Beatles.
I agree man. White Disc was pretty good but it's your opinion. And Revolution 9 was a horrible song from The Beatles. It's like they just wanted to hurry up and record a song. But it's also the longest songs of the Beatles, but I never even finished it.
Favorite : Revolver
Least favorite : Yellow Submarine
Favorite : Revolver... With The Beatles is wonderful too though!
Least favorite : Probably Yellow Submarine. I don't know, I'm just not all that fond of that one.
