when i came down to mexico i got a 6 month permit when i came down driving , for finacial reasons i havent been able to go back to the us , my permit expired 3 months ago , im going back to the us next week i have to come back , i want to know what i have to do when y cross the border and how much im going to have to pay for leting my permit expire.

I hate to tell you this but your Car is now subject to seizure. You will be stopped at the checkpoint around 20 or 30 km from the border. You will be looking at $5.00 a day or whatever the maximum fine is for overstaying your FMM.
If you know a mecanico you might want to get him to write a deposition that the Car has been disabled and that will account for the Car. As for you? Pay the fine or they will hold you until you or someone does.

Bud , these are Federal violations and they will take a bite out of you.
If by some miracle you don`t get stopped at the checkpoint get out of your car and remove the permit from your windshield and you will be over the bridge and in the USA.
