I have a 2004 ford f350 diesel, the egr cooler went out on it and it got replaced without any damage to the heads or gaskets, but now after the egr cooler has been replaced the truck will run for 10 minutes and shut off and it wont start until the next morning. The crank positoning sensor has been replaced, the air intake temperature sensor, high pressure oil pump, and the injector o rings, these have all been replaced thinking they might be a potential problem but they are not. Does anyone have an idea as to what the problem might be?? Thanx for the help.

So if you start it and it runs 10 minutes it will shut down and cant be started till the next day? No codes? May be a fuel pump or maybe a ICP sensor giving a bad reading.
we have had this trouble in the past with our f 350 and a new fuel filter did the job. also with it not starting it could because it is colder and the fuel is not as good as the motor was built for. cetane rating for the fuel has gone from like normally 55 to as low as 44 now a days so try a cetane booster to help cold starts and wait to start like it says to. we did all these things and havent had a problem since even starting in temps as low as -10 with no problem. hope this helps.
