I plan on having a party...I know about Irish Car Bombs, and I'll be making green Jell-O shots...any other ideas? Of course we'll be having some brewskis!
I'm a bartender, and you've got most of the American-Irish drinks listed here....I've never been to Ireland, but I am an American-Irish lass....so what I'll give you are a couple of green drinks.....
Grasshopper-
1 oz Green Creme de Menthe (minty green Liqueur) &
1 oz White Creme de Cacao (clear chocolate liqueur)
3/4 oz half and half
serve on rocks or mix with ice and strain and serve strain up
also you can skip the cream and blend with ice cream
Key Lime Pie
1 oz midori
1 oz vanilla vodka
3/4 oz roses lime juice
1 oz oj
spash of cream
best served chilled with ice as a shot or on the rocks
Baileys and Coffee, with whipped cream on top. Double up on the Baileys for twice the fun! Also, Applebees makes something called "Magic Coffee"which has a trucload of alcoholic ingredients. I'm sure you can find a copycat recipe online!
How about something really different? Like a green lime smoothie with alcohol of your choice. You can add rum, schnapps(mint), tequila is my favorite. Always after me lucky charms....Arrr...LOL

Forget the green beer; it's St. Paddy's Day - go for the dark stuff aka Irish Motor Oil aka Guinness, Beamish, or my favorite Murphy's Irish Stout!

A Dublin Boilermaker. Shot of Jameson's whisky chased by a bottle of Harp lager.
