Anyone know where I can buy a large size garden incinerator. At the moment we've got two of those dustbin sized ones with chimneys on top which are very good, but I get such a load of woody stuff to burn that I could do with one large one. Does anyone make them? Help.
Update:That oil drum idea is excellent. I'll have to try and find one. I do use a garden shredder but it doesn't take great big bits of wood. That's what I'm incinerating plus the bellbine which I can't put into the compost bin.

45Gallon oil drum cut off the top puncture it with holes in the side bingo you've got your incierator
I use an old fuel oil drum used for holding the heating oil for a house.... I think it was like a 250 or 500 gallon size.... I cut out one side and made a hinged door..... and it works great!!!
Get a 55 gallon drum.... Cut off the top!!!! that should do it for ya!
Is it possible to use some of this wood for home heating, for you or friends? Or what about using a garden shredder to turn it into a mulch? Or offer it to a local (council?) compost producer?
It seems a shame to just incinerate it, without any benefits... and I'm not especially 'Green'!
