I think most bikes use the same pattern. Click down to down-shift and up to shift up. Neutral is usually just 1/2 up from 1st. To find 1st just keep clicking down until it quits clicking.
Bajaj has the same gear shift pattern as that in pulsar and avenger. They use the same 1st gear down and rest up. The neutral is in between the first and second gear but it would cause a great deal of problems in the long run. Actually bajaj hasn't changed their scooter gear shift with neutral in between the first and second in their bikes too.
gear shift pattern of bajaj discover(2006) are in forward direction mean to increase gear u need to shift farward and for down the gear shift backward.
And 1 down and 4 up gear pattern as told by someone is only in pulsar 135 and 220.
visit the provider center.. tell them your themes.. and than defend your bike ideal.. and do oblige on your bike.. shift the gears easily by potential of applying grasp.. you comprehend with regards to the bajaj motorcycles.. its not so friendly..
