While I haven't seen any commercial saying there will or won't be a Gilmore Girls 8th season... I wouldn't hold my breath. It's been over two years now. The actors have moved on... They couldn't just start back up where they left off on the show. I think they pretty much "jumped the shark" since it obvious that Loralei has left Christopher and she and Luke made up. It was also obvious that Rory was ending up with Logan. She showed Mitchum on his opinion she was no good as a writer. And then we have Lane and Zack happily married with twins and whose mother has come to terms with Lane's choices. It's pretty much a done deal. Might be a movie at some point but I doubt anytime soon.
