Hi I was wondering If anyone new of any GOOD healthy lunches that I could pack for lunch for school. I normally have pbj but that gets old and I normally get a really big lunch and I'm a bit chubby. What are some good healthy lunches that fill you up and are good??? Thanks!

Today, my 8-year-old had a peanut butter and banana sandwich, a gogurt, and a container of strawberries and raspberries. She said that was enough for her.
My 6-year-old had a peanut butter and apple sandwich, a gogurt, and a container of strawberries, raspberries, and cantaloupe.
If you haven't tried sliced apple or banana on a peanut butter sandwich, you're missing out. You get the peanut butter you're used to with some more variety than jelly. The more fruits and veggies you add to your lunch, the more full you'll feel, and they're healthy and delicious, too!
Some ideas...
chicken salad (My kids and I like it with just chicken, mayo, and chopped carrots and celery.)
tortilla wrap with turkey, cheese, and lettuce (or other veggies)
hot soup in a thermos (or leftovers from the previous night's dinner)
As for fruits and veggies...
grapes
berries
melon
banana
orange slices
pineapple
carrots
celery
cucumber
red/orange/yellow/green peppers
If you don't like the veggies plain, try dipping them in some peanut butter, plain yogurt, or a bit of Ranch.
Apple slices, celery with peanut butter or almond butter, cheese slices, bananas, granola, yogurt, unsweetened apple sauce, any kind of fruits or veggies, almonds, try a bagel with cream cheese, or some wheat thin crackers, triscuits. A ham sandwhich instead of pb&j, even a balogna or sliced turkey sandwhich, sandwhich possibilities are endless. You want to have protein and a veggie with every meal, a protein would be meat or meat alternatives such as peanut butter or almond butter. Try natural rather than sweetened and additive kind. Or even some eggs, egg whites are the better part for you.
