Hi! I am trying to find a new veterinarian, horse dentist, and farrier for my horses. I am looking for one that come to your barn, and don't waste your time. Someone with good prices, quality work, and straightforward answers. Someone in Fallbrook, Oceanside, Del Mar, Bonsall, San diego, Carlsbad, Vista, Escondido. That area. (yes, they are all in California) It would really help me a lot!! Thank you!!
My thanks(:
Update:there isn't too many other horse people i can talk to. I have talked to people at my barn but they are already using the same people I am currently. I posted this question because my fourteen year old gelding and seven year old mare are not doing too well with the current people. Thanks(:

i have a good Farrier i love him he is located in san diego, his number is 619.729.2311 his name is Jeff Schrader. He is really good i went through a few bad farriers before i could find him. He does magic on peoples horses that seem to be lame for different reasons, someone i know had a mare that was never ridable because of feet problems she had he spent several months doing correct shoeing on her because no one else seemed to be able to help now she can go on light trail rides and is no longer lame. he is 40 for a trim, 90 for half shoes and i believe 120 for full. i use 2 different vets depending on what i need one is Gary Ameral he has really cheep prices and is good but he is very scatter brained. i use him for medication i may need, shots, teeth floating. in emergencies he is cheep too. my friends older horse coliced so bad that every vet she turned to only wanted to put her down but she knew she had the heart to make it, it was her baby. Gary was the only vet that helped. She had an IV in with stuff to help stand her up in her stall, he came every day for a week till she recovered and she lived a happy 10 years after that with her owner till she passed at 32 years old. I also use Eclap which you can look up online and they are reasonably priced as well. Gary J. Ameral's number is 619-267-7775. if that one is wrong you can also look him up online
I live in the SD area. I agree ask who people at the feed store use and others at the barn. There are sooooo many out here. I've found a farrier I really like through my barn, along with a vet. I'm still looking into dentist as I don't know many who use them.
Try Joe. Joe is always good with horses and children.
Seriously are you kidding me? Try asking other horse owners in your area. People on here are from all over the world kiddo, not just your corner of it.
Word of mouth is going to be your best bet here.
Most vets will also do teeth too, just make sure your vet is qualified to do teeth beyond just being a vet. Then you can take care of your teeth and shots in one visit.
contact horse people in your area and ask them
