Hi all,I have a family member from my boyfriend side that wants to sell me his Jeep Cherokee for $3,500 but the truck is leaking oil (don't know which one). He says the repair cost around $350. He wants $1,000 down payment and he gives me 8 months to pay the rest. My boyfriend keeps telling me to get it but I'm a little skeptical because I feel is not a good investment, no matter how much they want to convince me that it is. not a good investment-Stay far away from this deal. Some one has said that the repair cost will be around $350. If you are remotely interested, have some mechanic look at the car and tell you what the repair will specifically be. Don't get sucked into this vortex. This is a money machine.
