So I am doing a project for school and I have to create a budget for a specific given person. All I am asking though is what are typical grocery items in Michigan, in 2013. Food like Milk, yogurt, jelly, mustard, potatoes, etc. Just typical items that you would buy at a store maybe weekly. All I need is the prices for individual items or places I can find them. I have tried walmart and stuff like that, but it doesn't give the price for some items because their prices are different for every store. Any suggestions? Thanks

You could go into an actual store and look at the prices on the shelf tags for the items in question. Just a thought. Prices might be slightly different in different stores but you are not being asked to do a survey of statewide or nationwide grocery prices or a comparison between one store's prices and another's.
One store's prices will do just fine. And without knowing what sizes and brands you intend to use for this imaginary person, no one here can give you definite answers. A jar of store brand jelly may be much cheaper than Smucker's. A gallon of milk costs more than a half pint.
