I just ran a height/weight calculator on your current body type -- which indicates you are in a "healthy" range. (I put your age in as 13)
You can't make yourself grow any quicker -- or any taller than you will be -- but at 13 you certainly are not finished growing. Eat healthy foods -- exercise (ride bikes, go swimming, walk the dog).... and try not to worry about your size.
This is the result of the weight indicator:
There are a lot of different ways to think about a person's ideal body weight. Some people would consider it to be the weight that was directly proportional to a person's height, so that you wouldn't have people who are short and fat or tall and thin...
A 'better' way to think about a person's ideal body weight is as what is a 'healthy' weight for their age and height using their body mass index.
Please keep in mind that many factors go into determining if someone is 'healthy' and that this is just one tool. Talk to your Pediatrician if you have concerns about your child's weight.
A 13 year old (female) child who is 106 pounds and is 5 feet tall has a body mass index of 20.7, which is at the 73th percentile, and would indicate that your child is at a healthy weight.
See the notes on BMI below if you have any questions...
To interpret your child's BMI, you can also check the Girls BMI Growth Charts to see if your child has a healthy bmi. Just plot your childs age and BMI and see what the percentile is. (See our guide to Understanding Growth Charts if you are not sure what to do.)
Remember, a child is considered to be:
overweight if they have a BMI over the 95th percentile for their age
at risk of becoming overweight if they have a BMI between the 85th and 95th percentile for their age
underweight if they have a BMI under the 5th percentile for their age
And a child has a healthy BMI if it is between the 5th and 85th percentile.
Here is a height predictor results:
5'4"
You can't do anything to increase your height. If it makes you feel any better I was in your situation when I was your age and a year after I got my period and I lost 40 lbs and I'm only 5'3" ... It's better being short anyway, when you're tall it's harder to find boyfriends. :o)
YOU CANT BE SOMETHING , WHEN ITS IMPOSSIBLE ..REMEMBER THAT
