So, I've been seeing this guy for about 2 months and earlier this week, he finally met my sister. I'm very close with my sister and so he's heard me refer to her many times. I know that he's always wanted to meet her and was really excited to meet her this week. However, I saw a side of him that I haven't seen before. We went to a movie and during the movie, he kept trying to talk to her and make jokes with her. In fact, the entire evening, he kept trying to make jokes with her but because she doesn't know him, it came off weird and annoying to her.
She hid this well and just went along with it but I found myself being annoyed with him by the end of the evening. He just kept repeating jokes he had said earlier in the evening and kept teasing her.
I have no doubt of his feelings for me and I honestly think, he was nervous and just wants her to like him. However, I feel like he did more harm than good and I'm worried that my sister will never get to see the side of him I see. Honestly, his behavior just seemed so immature/juvenile. I'm 25, he's 20, and my sister is 21.
Any advice? Thoughts? Thanks!

He was probably just nervous because he is closer to her age than yours. He probably really wanted her to think he was a nice guy. Sometimes when people are nervous they laugh a lot, talk a lot. Maybe he is one of those types of people. The more he gets to know her he will probably calm down. I wouldnt tell him that he was being annoying because the next time it might be awkward for him. Maybe just assure him that she liked him and thought he was nice, it might ease his mind a bit :)
It is nice to have a boyfriend who is striving to be liked by your family, after all he was probably worried she might tell your parents he was strange or something!
you may as well prepare for the same situation happening over and over again as long as you are with a younger more immature guy; and who knows maybe he does like your sister better. Oh well.
