Had sex when I had stretchy discharge...?
Hi, just a quick question. My husband and I are TTC. I was away for a month (no sex for one straight month) and the day I came back I think I was ovulating (alot of white odorless stretchy discharge) Well we had sex that night and now I am 11 days late for my period. My periods have always been unpredictable, but I was wondering, the white stretchy discharge: does that mean you ARE ovulating or abour to ovulate? B/C OBVIOUSLY the best time to conceive would be when you are ovulating. So, did I hit it right on, or was it to early or late to have sex with the stretchy discharge?
I would just like to know. I'm 11 days late with not alot of signs of pregnancy, but some people do not get any signs...anyways, anything would help, thanks!

Hi, my doctor tells me that women are most fertile when their cervical mucus is how you described it to be..it should be an egg white consistency. I think you hit it right on. You can probaby take a pregnancy test now but if the result is negative, don't lose hope...wait another week to test again, better yet you can have a blood test done for more accuracy..And if it didn't work this time, you'll know for next cycle. Remember the days that you are most "wet" is the best time to TTC.and around that time you are ovulating, so you should have sex every other day, so you don't miss the window of opportunity. if you're 11 days late, you should take a pregnancy test.
