My boyfriend told me when we first started dating that he was diagnosed as schizophrenic and I've been reading up on the symptoms recently. My problem is that he has told me on quite a few occasions that he hears voices and sees spirits and that they talk to him and can touch him and stuff. I believe that this may be the result of his schizophrenia. My boyfriend also doesn't want to take medication or attend his doctor's appointments because he thinks he's fine. Should I try and convince him that the voices and ghosts are hallucinations and get him to take the medication or would it be best to leave it be?
