help!! im panicing!! urgent?
please help me. i was just filtered my tank, so then i turned the switch for the filter on. it made a really loud crunching noise, so i switched the plug off and on again. but this time the filter isn't making any noise and isn't filtering the water at all. please help.
by the way, i have cleaned the filter pads.

did you fill the filter with water first to prime it give that a try and then make sure theres no debris in the intake or the impeller
your supposed to fill it with water before you plug it in. sounds like your running it dry (without any water in it) this can burn out the motor.
fill the filter with water then try again. if its not making any noise at all, or not working at all. then it sounds like your burnt out the motor
make sure its put together correctly.
