Most spider bites itch. Does he scratch it? I have given my dogs a half of a beneadryl (children) if you can find it, but if not a half of regular helps with itching. Keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't get any bigger or if he is scratching it, don't let he/her open it up. Call your vet. Hopefully he would give you advise without charging. Good luck...our pets are our lives....
Buying the dog is the cheapest part. The vet care is costly... I think most don't realize that. We will have $600.00+ of vet bills for our new boy puppy this year alone. It is apart of the commitment you make in proper care of the dog.
I read these "my dog is sick" questions here with the screamingly obvious answer "TAKE YOUR DOG TO THE VET" before you even come here to ask the question.
If your 2 year old child had a mysterious lump would you come here to ask anonymous people like me what to do? No... You would be instantly heading to see some form of professional medical care.
I even have 6 dachshunds and have fostered many greater. Do your self and your new domestic dog a prefer, visit the library (or purchase it on line) and get "Dachshunds for Dummies". stupid call, yet perfect e book on dachsies, their care and training, you will ever discover. Covers all your questions and discusses the breed in intensity. it particularly is exciting to be sure and extremely informative. we've all new dachsie vendors examine it formerly we supply them a dachshund for adoption. inspect crate training, it particularly is for once you're long gone and for potty training. Dachshunds could desire to be socialized together as youthful as a manner to love people and different canines, they are "prey" canines, meaning they instinctively prefer to seek - could be squirrels, could be your cat, so watch that and consistently shop them on leash or in a securely fenced section. so a approaches as i'm in contact, dachshunds are the suited mix of hound and terrier and are spunky, clever, affectionate and only superb canines - extensive character in small equipment. stable success - practice and manage your dogs suitable (never hit or yell, consistently helpful reinforcement) and you will have the perfect significant other dogs you ought to ever think of.
yup, could be a spider bite or a bite from something else or an imbedded tick. Either put some ictamole cream on it and/or give him some antibiotic. Of course the Vet is always the safes option.
Well your papa is right it could be that or he rubbed himself on a material he's alergic to or a fat deposit and I don't want to worry you but it could also be a tumor or something growin in him if I were yo I would wait till tomorrow and take him to the vet hopes this helps good luck peace man
