SistaGirl, you are just now in the process of discovering who and what you are, and would like to be. Even if you don't like what you see in the mirror, hold your head up, and have some confidence in yourself!!! You are just getting started. It doesn't get any easier, but if you just have some faith in yourself and some self-esteem, without letting all of the pressures that come along with highschool, you'll be fine, and figure out, on your own terms, who you are, and what you want to do with your life. Keep your head up!!! : )
If you'd like to be more adventurous I suggest trying new things. Make that extra effort to talk to new people in your classes. You can break the ice by complementing their outfit, asking what middle school they went to, or simply introducing yourself. Becoming involved in school clubs and activities will also help you to become more outgoing. Best of luck to you!
Find the magic beans on the mystical fairy mountain. Take them down by the haunted river and plant them. You will immediately become a 6th grader again and your high school worries will disappear.
You have to be who you are. The reason you are so much more "adulty" is because you are maturing and adapting to your new responsibilities. just relax because Freshman year sux to be quite honest and its hard enough without trying to self analysize yourself
