High school soccer problem?
I love playing soccer like totally love the game but i hate playing high school soccer i don't know why i hate it so much but i have to play it atleast one more year. but my school takes all the fun out of playin soccer what can i do to make it better for me
Update:i love to play competitively it makes it more exciting and i get a great adrenaline rush form it but the coach or atleast the JV coach makes it not as fun

I know what you mean. I play traveling soccer in the summer, and then school soccer comes around and it just sucks. People in school soccer usually seem to be so much worse, and I'm very competitive so since I don't want to be mad at my team all the time, I goofed around...which the coach didn't like and I got kicked off the team the next year because I had a "bad attitude."
If you really have to play it, just have fun. Ignore your coach and do what you like (that's not illegal ha!) especially since it's your last year.
My son complains about High School ball as well. It is a hugh step down from club play and the coach doesn't know anything about soccer.
you most likely don't like it b/c high school soccer is much more competitive then playing for fun or for a club team. i'll admit high school soccer is not as fun but it was a challenge i always looked forward to.
if you really love soccer than you won't be intimidated to play for your school. if you previously played for the team then it shouldn't be as bad right? also why do you say you HAVE to play? if you don't like the competition then don't tryout, it's that simple.
at least you had middleschool soccer, and quit complaining if you really love soccer then it should be fun no matter what
You should have a talk with your coach. Ask him to give you a chance
