Middle school (at least in my experience) was much more strict with rules. Even the students that proved to be good students were yelled at for minor infractions. On the other hand, nobody cared and the place went wild. My best stories come from when I was in middle school. Though everyone is really immature, which can be fun sometimes but other times it's just annoying. It is definitely less stressful than high school and much less busy.
High school (again, in my experience) is a little more lenient with the rules, especially to those students who have proven themselves trustworthy. There are also more opportunities to explore different things such as drama, speech, and FFA. Everyone is definitely more mature which I like a lot. They began finding the balance of when it's okay to act goofy and when it is time to act serious. It is immensely more stressful because everything is to be ready for college and the "real world" and GPA really matters. It's also more busy as we try to juggle more homework, work, sports/extra-curriculars, and hanging out with friends.
In conclusion, some days I wish I was back in care free middle school where we just goofed off and had fun but other days I'm glad that I have the responsibility of a high school student who is blessed with opportunities galore and a job that give me money to do fun stuff.

Well in middle school, you learn how to spell, so that pretty cool. But I'd have to say high school.
High school for sure!
