I need very urgent help...I have a question regarding my Home sine wave Inverter unit.
It is 1.5years old.
There was a 2-3 min power cut in the afternoon (Now its midnight here).. And the inverter started charging the battery and it is still getting charged(Charging LED is on)!
The Inverter and battery both have become very hot.
What to do???

They do get hot but if you find it is a lot hotter than normal it could be over worked a give it a chance to cool off by shutting it off for awhile, this is better than burning it up. The heat is created from resistance and is normal but excessive heat can damage the unit
i don't understand lots approximately those, is it like a UPS, yet on your complete homestead? If it certainly appears like it is going to undergo a Chernobyl-type meltdown, there must be some sort of disconnect for it, merely close it down till you get an answer that's nicely smart. you are going to be able to desire to even ought to disconnect between the battery cables. probably it has some sort of monitoring circuit that's meant to close off the charging whilst the battery is totally charged. each so often, shutting off malfunctioning electric stuff, then, turning it returned on returned forces it to pass by way of a self try or initiate-up series and it may desire to start working wisely. worth a attempt.
