I'm an Australian citizen. My grandparents were born in Hungary and moved to Australia. Am I eligible to get an EU passport as a grandchild and where should I go to apply for one? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to prove ur ancestry to get a right to live in Hungary (not straight away citizenship), once u get the ancestry visa, then u can move to live in Hungary for five years & will get citizenship in due course. You need to speak fluent Hungarian that i am sure wont be a problem for you anyway.
Good luck.
In theory, yes. Your parent, by definition, was an Hungarian citizen, and so are you. However, you will need to prove all this, showing descent from your grandparents to you. Contact the Hungarian embassy in Canberra.
