My sleep schedule is all over the place. For a while, I had been falling asleep in the afternoon and waking up in the middle of the night...so I decided to stay up for about 24 hours so I could fall asleep in the night and wake up the next morning. It actually worked, and I had a nice 10 hour sleep. Apparently 10 hours wasn't enough, because I became sleepy shortly after, and I'm still off schedule. Also, other than that 10 hour sleep, I haven't been able to get a full 8 hour sleep in a while now. I went to sleep last night at 2 A.M. and woke up today at 8 A.M. That's not that bad, but 6 hours of sleep hasn't really been fueling me throughout the day. I don't know how to fix this.

My primary suggestion is to try going to bed at the same time each night (and wake up at the same time each day). If you have trouble falling asleep at first, it wouldn't hurt to buy an over-the-counter sleep aid until you become adjusted to the schedule.
Also, working out (no later than around 8pm) can help you fall asleep.
