She died in Lions Gate Hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia, but the closest information I can find is that she died of natural causes. That's not very helpful, though, since all that means is that it was not a suicide, homicide, or accident. She may have had some sort of condition (like asthma or a heart condition or something), and I guess her family wanted to keep the cause of death private.
