Well the first song I ever heard by Led Zeppelin was Immigrant Song. From there, well you can't go wrong with Led Zeppelin. Every single one of their Albums was a huge success.
It was actually on my computer labeled "Ccccccccc" by 'rhcp'. Obviously not by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, it took me a while but a found out it was the Immigrant Song.
My favorite Band is The Rolling Stones/ACDC. Iam 17 and have always heard of these 2 bands.. but over the past few months I have really started to get into classic rock. I have listened to pretty much EVERY classic rock artist u can think of, by downloading music and stuff.. and i feel that I like these 2 bands the most, because they have all of my favorite songs..
Led Zeppelin: I used to hate them because all the guys at school were into them and they were the most popular band; everyone seemed to go through a Zep fanaticism phase and so I was determined not to sell out. I was (and still am) a massive Yardbirds fan and one day I decided to swallow my pride and see what Pagey really got up to after the Yardbirds broke up...beyond Stairway to Heaven. I put on Led Zeppelin III, which is largely acoustic, and was blown away by the fact that this "metal" band could produce such beautiful music. When I got to track seven, Tangerine, I officially declared myself a fan, and I've never looked back. I got into their "heavier" songs too and discovered they weren't really just loud, crappy heavy metal and there was a lot of musicality in there. Oh - and a teenage crush on Jimmy Page didn't hurt either, lol.
I looked up one of my fave bands Panic At The Disco to buy their new CD in the summer, so I could have all of their songs on my iPod. [[ I have been a die hard fan ever since A Fever You Can't Sweat Out ]]
Then I started clicking on 'listeners also bought....' and kept clicking on that until I found Marianas Trench<3
I don't really have one favorite band but my faves are:
Panic At The Disco
Marianas Trench
Cobra Starship
Nevershoutnever! [[not rly a band]]
Mayday Parade
The Academy Is...
The Friday Night Boys
Mercy Mercedes
and i just kept looking through iTunes typing random words in.. and I found them [=
I was 13 years old. I listened to Green Day, Blink 182, and whatever else was on my usual alternative rock radio station. Then, one magical day, i was watching tv, and a comercial came on. It told me about this radio station that played classic rock. I tuned my radio to the station. I fell in love. It has not been changed yet. I discovered many wonderful, amazing things through that station. Including my favorite band, song, great knowledge of music, and my future career. I attribute all of these things to that simple day when i decided to watch tv.
When I was growing up in the 70's, I had a big brother who was really into rock and he used to play Led Zeppelin day and night, so they grew on me and now they are my favourite band, bring back a lot of memories of the time.
Discovered Paramore by The Sims 2 on my PS2, then I forgot, then I heard the same song again on the tv, then my friend sent me their songs through bluetooth to my phone and I got hooked:)

Borrowed their Live CD from a friend and liked every single song. The band is Nine Inch Nails....
I discovered Lamb of God through a friend who copied As the Palaces Burn for me. I listened to it, loved it and have never looked back.
