How do LAN servers work in Minecraft 1.3.1?
I have no idea what these are and how they work. Me and my friend would like to play on their single player world together. We have Hamachi if that helps. Please answer fast!

It's pretty much a way for other people on the same internet connection as you to join your single player map. It's good for a few friends or family to play with you at your house.
