You don't need to understand God.

I believe in God, but not in the traditional way. I believe that God is much greater than a male judgmental emotional being. It is not a personality at all. I believe that it is the cause and energy that underlies all causes and all forms of energy. It is in everything, and is the basis of everything, and it is what makes everything and everyone related to one another. It is all power and all absence. If there is a tiniest particle of energy, it may be even tinier so that it can't be identified by us, but without it, nothing would exist.

Could a single fish understand the sea? Or a squirrel the forest in its entirety?

Only in terms of itself. Any understanding will be based, as well as limited, to one's species, one's sex, one's upbringing as well as personality and character.

You have to get to know Him. Study Him. Believe Him. Along the way you begin to understand Him and then the doors will begin to opened. You will never really know him until you are with him.

I dont know what god is or if there is a god. I believe itd probable to say its possible that we might know after biological death. But its also possible we will not know after death if thete is no supernatural world. Its more of a "maybe" also a maybe not.
