~~~I am happily married and for just over ten years. I think I married younger than many other gen X-ers like myself and dated less. I was a month less than 23 when I said "I do." I met my husband on April 4th of 1998 and by August of 1998 began to plan my wedding. Then married him in June of 99. So I was wondering if my time line was faster than yours for dating and marriage or if it was about the same.

Started dating Dec. 26, 1999. Married April 20, 2000. We were both 22 at the time. Still married 9 1/2 years later and still happy.
We were dating since we were 18. So we dated for 3 years. Then we were engaged for 2 years. Now we are 23 and happily married.
We met when I was 19, he was 23. We got engaged a year later and married 3 1/2 years after that (we knew I was too young and needed to finish college).
