My son is on his second bowl of grits. Thursday he at THREE.... After half of a huge Jonagold apple.
Is this "normal???" How much is he going to eat when he's a teen??????
Update:I never limit his food, and I keep it as healthy as possible. He loves his fruits and veggies.
Just concerns me some days how much he packs away. He's 31" and 30 lbs, was breast fed for almost 18 months and is almost 22.

Start a garden now, and have someone teach him to hunt. Make the boy grow/kill his own food!
A lot! My baby boy eats about three bowls of cereal. My teen boys eat like a crazed mad men. They come home from school and eat a large frozen pizza in about ten minutes. They'd go for a second pizza if I allowed it. I always say no because I'm working on dinner and I usually have no left overs. Then they want a before bed snack. It's crazy! But, I don't think it's unusual. My best girl also has three boys and she spends a small fortune on groceries too. They eat a lot. I just think that's the way it is. My boys aren't overweight and are active in sports and very tall and nice looking boys. They just love to eat.
He's growing, growing boys eat like mad...I have a four year old and a two and a half year old...I buy enough food to feed a large football team and they eat it all. Normal.
When hes a teen aslong as he isnt 'fat' then dont worry about how much he eats, teenage boys it soo much food its amazing, eventually you will find them out eating their dads :P
growth spurt a-coming!
feed the boy as much as he wants, at this age his body knows better than anyone. when this growth spurt is over he'll go back to 'normal'
teens?!? you'll be lucky if you can get a bite in to yourself :~)
