All the polls have Central Michigan ranked a few spots out of the top 25. Central Michigan has a top 10 QB as well as a decent team.
I realize Central Michigan may not have the depth of most major conference teams but they have a few outstanding players who can carry the load in big games. I also realize that they probably would be a 50/50 team in most major conferences AKA lost to Arizona (in CMU's defence it was the season opener) and won at Michigan State.
It comes down to the fact that Central Michigan is most likely going to win the MAC Championship with a 11-2 record going into bowl season which is nothing to look down at.
P.S. The reason I have a second loss penciled in is because they have to play at Boston College which should be an incredably close game. I don't want to call them a potential 12-1 team when they have to go on the road against an equivalent team.

Ya know, Arizona is actually #22, how that is possible when they are unranked in the AP and Coaches I don't know (computer love). They beat BG this week and BC next, I would say 18-20 out of respect. Their problem is being in the MAC which seems to be the Big 10's minor league. The WAC and MWC seem to get more respect I think because they draw from a larger pool of good athletes.
If they run the table they should have a crack at a tier 2 bowl game and could suprise someone but I don't think think MAC will get an at large bid to the BCS. As far as bowls go, isn't the MAC winner tied to the Hub Cap Bowl in Detroit?
I think the issue is their schedule. They lost to Arizona, they squeaked by Michigan St., and have been cruising against nobodies. If they beat Boston College, that'll prove if they're worth paying attention to, but let's be real: Alcorn State, Akron, Eastern Michigan? And at the end of their schedule, they'll play Toledo and Ball State?
That schedule and conference hurts them bad.
Obviously it's their schedule and Losing to Arizona doesn't help
i don't know but ou lost big time **** texas
