how much student debt or school tuition is too much?
i was accepted into a private school for civil engineering and i was wondering how much student debt is reasonable. the total cost would be 150k for 3 years (im a transfer student). or should i stay back another year and go to a public school which would be about 66k for 3 years?
if i go to the private school, i save 2 years, but i lose a lot of money
if i go to the public school, i save a lot of money, but i lose 2 years.

Well you need to decide if it is worth spending $150k for a degree. Are you going to be able to get a job that pays well enough to cover those loans? If not, think about the public school. There are very few jobs out there that will be able to cover $150k in loans, so that might be your answer.
