HTC HD2 VS Samsung Vibrant?
I've had the HD2 for a while now & i just got the Vibrant today. For some reason i cant determine which one i think is better or if i should go back to the Hd2. After Having a camera phone with a flash it kinda sucks to go to this "new" phone and it doesnt have one. If the HD2 was a Android phone & it didnt freeze so much i think it would be the better phone. I do think the "swype" feature is REALLY cool on the vibrant . Any thoughts on this? Which do you feel is the overall better phone of the 2.

there's way to hack the hd2 to work android, but need some works and you had to look it up in forum.
out of the box hd2 has terrible software, the window mobile 6.5 is very limited function, 300 games only? and worst it can't be updated to windows 7 mobile when out later this year.
Vibrant will be better with android and nice screen, actually samsung one is bigger than hd2 but hd2 is thicker.
Just did some research on the two. And I picked the vibrant. I'd rather have an android phone that I know will be constantly updating than a buggy windows phone. That and the vibrant just seemed so much more sleek. I do love the way HTC makes phones, and the G1 can really take a beating and still function properly, but I think in this case, Vibrant wins in my book. Id sacrifice flash any day for android.
I do believe there are night settings to help with the issue as well on the vibrant. There were issues with the hd2 flash actually "blowing out" pictures and being too bright anyways. :)
I have an HD2 and am switching to the Vibrant. HD2 as you stated freezes a lot. That with the fact it is Windows Mobile. Meh.
I dont care about the flash. The dual LEDs on the HD2 are stupidly bright anyway, and almost make people squint if they stare too long at them.
I cant wait to get the Vibrant (today or tomorrow).
HD2 is a great device, but... running Windows Mobile, i've had the touch pro 2 and HD2, but after 3 years of using Windows Mobile, and using cooked ROMS i got really bored of it (personal taste).
Samsung Vibrant is the winner.
With each thing you have suggested, i'd say get yet another telephone. yet, in case you will question me, i'd surely say Galaxy S. it somewhat is significantly better than the HD2, application and hardware sensible. i'd say the two look ahead to homestead windows telephone 7, or purchase an Android telephone. homestead windows cellular as you suggested; is lifeless.
