My daughter is 23 months old and has a cough. I wanted to give her some relief at night but the only thing that I could find in the drugstore that is even close to being safe is Hyland's Cold n Cough. Anyone ever use this? It's supposed to be for ages 2+ but it's all natural. Do you think it's OK if I give her a little less than a full dose since she is almost 2?

If she is not within the age range listed on the container then do not give it to her without talking to her Dr. first. If she needs something really bad they can usually call her something in at least til they can see her!
Any medicine that is sold for KIDS is not necessaritry safe for INFANTS. Kids could mean 2 yr old or even 5 yr old. My toddler, for example, couldn't take that cold'n'cough. and it is certainly not safe for a developing FETUS especially during months 7-9 when brain develops. Its tough to get sick....
