(I know i already asked this but it is urgent! :)
Registration for public school is a few days away now. My parents are letting me choose between online school and regular public school, and I still just can't decide. Has anyone been to online school? How was it? Are there any advantages to either one over the other? Thank you in advance.

advantage for public schooling
1. everbody has instinctive need to have extensive face to face contact with their friends, teachers and the public.
2. you may facce more distractions from the TV and online games at home.
3. you would feel loney when studying online at home, since you can not easily make friends.
advantage for online schooling
1. there is less constraint, less peer pressure at home and more flexible schedules.
Don't listen to the people who say you won't be social.
It's your choice. Do you want to be online schooled? Do you have any friends in a public school? If you decide you don't like it, you can always change.
* Flexibility with your time,
* ability to go ahead if you wish
* typically much more support from teachers (our experience anyway)
* More choices for non core courses (languages, etc)
* free (compared to homeschooling)
* still meet the requirements of public schools so thus transferring isn't an issue and college prep is similar.
* can work independently
it's up to u if u want a more social part in ur schooling or u want to stay at home and learn and it not be as social
