im 5 feet tall and 102 pounds. im thin, yet i have a tummy? what can i do to get a flat stomach? i want to be able to sit down without anything hanging over! :(
It depends on what is causing the tummy. If it's just muscle that needs to be toned up then yes, like everyone says, you need to do exercises focused on the core: crunches, bridges, etc...
If it's fat, then the exercises will tone up your abs, but they may stay hidden under a layer of fat. In that case you will need to exercise the bigger muscle groups (i.e. legs) to burn the fat faster (squats, lunges, etc..).
Of course, a good diet plays a big part of this too.
you may need to do exercise that is targeted to the tummy. Tummies are sometimes hereditary . Talk to a dietician to see if you are eating stuff that would contribute to a tummy ( like rice instead of bread etc. )
do some abs workout like sit-ups, crunches and even flexing your abdmnal musces hile sitting down. if its just too big, go consult a doctor to be sure.

Combine cardiovascular training with ab workouts and a reduction in calories.
