I'll keep this as short as possible: I met a girl, I like her, we hung out many times. We both said we could see ourselves together. She kissed me once. However, there is this other guy. She doesn't see him very often, he's about 10 years her elder, she admits he doesn't treat her well, and she says she can't be with me until she gets her situation with him figured out, but I've been waiting and not hearing much about a resolution. Well, I'm not about to be someone's shoulder to cry on while some other guy gets all the benefits. I believe that I am being strung along and I don't know what to do about it. I really like this girl, but if she really wanted to be with me, she would, wouldn't she? What do you guys think, and what do you think I should do? I don't have many other prospects at the moment, I would prefer it if this would work out.

Lol, she's being a player. It's cool. If you really like her than keep going for her, but obviously she's not quite feeling the same about you, if shes contested with a guy 10 years older that doesn't treat her well. You're almost there, if you're ready to move on, but not quite sure what she thinks, throw in an ultimatum: say: I really don't like being someones plan B.
If you think you should move on, then I would suggest finding a girl who's all your own. If you're still into her, then outgame him, step your game up a bit and win her over.
Yup........time to cut the cord on this one.
If she truly without a doubt wanted to be with you, she would have told the other guy good-bye.
I recommend you invest time in another girl who really wants to be your gf.
