Get a hold of a Benz ETM (Electrical Troubleshooting Manual) and it will have the electrical schematics. If you luck out, you can find an old print format ETM. They were great as the pages were quite large when you folded them out and it made tracing the wires easier. These days the ETM is part of the CD repair manual, if still available. Those are being phased out as well so you may have to go online and pay for a limited time subscription to access the Benz service and parts systems.
well first of all, get yourself a very good tech book on a benz 300e, an then trace the wires from that. they are color coded so you should be able to follow it pretty closely, above all take your time, because wires do tend to fade with age.
