most of the students that were good at math were boys or girls?
BQ: Did a math teacher ever discouraged you to do math?
No hate, please. Thank you.
Update:Vegan: Sounds cool.
Update 3:Water Lillies: mainly girls, sometimes a guy or another. I'm alright at it.

Actually - both - we only had seven kids in the top class - four girls and three boys. I was simultaneously last in academic standing and highest in IQ - so work it out. My father discouraged us from doing math properly - even though I have a serious native talent for it - because he had been 'no good' at it in school. He came from a different generation, and was actually much more talented than he gave himself credit for.
No all my math teachers always told me I was really smart,
and a pretty quick leaner
The thing was I lazy and sometimes I didn't do my homework or work,
but I always end up raising it up the lowest grade would be a C
the highest would be an A
So whenever I would ask, if I could switch to a higher level of math
They said my laziness would get in the way, if it wasn't for them
I probably would have failed my math classes if I decide to go at a higher level
It was in between kinda of for both guys and girls
What about yourself?
A lot of the guys were good at math. In fact, for the most part I think it WAS boys who did better. Or at least spoke up more in math class.
For the most part in high school it was guys, there were girls who were good though. I think the real gender gap came from the guys finding practical applications for their math skills.
BQ: No, my math teacher never discouraged me from doing math.
In classes, it was about even. On the math team the best people were male.
Math team is an inter-school competition
I know that I was terrible at Maths and I used to kick off and get very frustrated during the lessons. It was my worst subject.
I enjoyed Art and Literacy the most. I also enjoyed Citizenship because it was talking and discussing which I generally enjoy. I HATED Maths and I HATED P.E. In fact I used to drop out of P.E all together. I loathed it.
More boys but it wasn't a landslide. There was a couple girls in the lamo math club. They asked me but HELL TO THE NO. That was social suicide,
BQ - Nope the math teacher was always trying to get me in the nerd club.
Males.. but then again, the majority of people at the schools I went to were male.
BQ: No, none of them ever did that to me or any other student (that I know of).
There were a similar number of boys and girls good at math.
BQ: No.
I went to all male boarding schools until I went on to University after 12th grade, so they were all male.
BQ: No.
