India and Australia? Hmmm?

Hi there,

This somewhat inquisitive but also somewhat of a statement.

I've noticed when ever I'm bored and log onto Omegle or any similar website that as soon as I mention that I'm Australia, and my conversational partner is Indian, they insult me (not always) and disconnect (every... Single... Time). Now, I initially thought that it was because of all this "Indian students getting assaulted in Aus" thing (of which the racial component is fairly over-hyped) but I've noticed that even if I delay mentioning my place of residence and build up a decent conversation, it still happens the second I mention my Australian.. Ism.

Now, I'm not racist in the slightest, and though we (like anywhere) have racists, nor are most Australians. I never grew up with ANY racism here. In fact, my family is multi-cultural.

Now, normally I'd ignore it, but it's happened so many times of late that I've taken to throwing my phone at the wall. :p

Can someone please explain? Preferably someone from India.

Ps - I know not all Indians are so judgmental as I have Indian friends - it's just this online phenomena.
