For the IPod touch 2nd gen (16gb) is it still possible to add non itunes songs (Ex. Limewire etc.)? Because i have been researching and have bumped into reviews that say that. And does the ipod touch in reality has a low battery life span?

i have an itouch 2nd G. If you download the music from limewire or whatever onto your computer, then you can add it to your itunes library and sync it to the ipod. The battery life could be better, it's not incredible, but it's not that bad either. It's practical, you can listen to music for a reallly long time, but some apps kill it a little faster.
I know if you jailbreak it a whole new world opens up. My 2G touch which is also a 16 gig the battery life for me is at least 3 hours but I use YouTube for that time period and there is still 20% battery life left but I usually hook it up to the charger for about a hour or two and it has a full charge by then.
Limewire is bad news for a computer so don't use it! And I don't believe itunes will let you use windows media player, but somehow you
Can sync the songs from wmp to itunes
properly I haven't any expereince with apple refurbs, I surely have a refurbished cellular telephone and that i in my view think of it somewhat is in basic terms as stable as new. i could on no account have standard if i offered it thinking it strengthen into new. i admire my Ipod touch 8g 1st gen. such as you I specially use it for the wifi sence I surely have not archives plan for my blackberry. it relatively is an exceptionally large device that in case you do no longer prefer to fork out each and every of the money for an iphone is judt as stable, yet you dont get each and every of the reward of the archives plan and ect. yet you would be pleased with the touch. fairly the apps, a lot of relaxing issues to do to kill time and examine climate.
i have the same and batterys fine, you can add limewire songs to itunes and sync it to your touch
