Unless you have a good reason to say something bad about someone, why say it at all?

If someone is doing something that hurts other people -- bullying, for instance -- then by all means speak up.

If you don't like the way another girl does her hair, it's not 'fine to judge.'

Good judgement is the way that people figure out what to do and who to associate with. Negatively judging people just because they're not exactly like you is (in my judgement) stupid and unkind.

Dig deeper! It isn't okay to just judge people on appearance, ever! People subconsciously judge people upon meeting them but that's some psychology for another day, what you should do is take that first impression and throw it out! I wouldn't have a fraction of the amazing friends I have now if I simply judged people right away and didn't dig deeper.

You probably won't make as many friends being judgmental than you would if you weren't and a lot of people don't really think that that's an attractive personality trait, but I don't think there's anything truly wrong with it.
